Today's new pairing is something a little different - first of a series of figures inspired by a classic piece of 1980s animation. Other contributors over at the Scale Creep blog will be adding more.

Very cool and immediately recognizable! 8)

But does he have The Power? (of that one castle with the morbid architecture)

Very cool - Scaredy Cat s great, lovely colours and brilliant reimagining of the pose (What on earth where they thinking with that original pose?!).

Thanks! Glad the source inspiration is apparent :)

No idea what the original weretiger was supposed to be doing. It's an odd figure (then lots of pre-slotta figures were).

I like the original weretiger. If you view it in the round it's nicely posed to claw someone's face off.

Quality stuff as always.

@AWu - It's been ages since I last saw that pic. A unit of woad warriors might be a fun thing to make one day.

@Raedwald - glad you like the thread! I'm sometimes astonished when I look back at the start and see the stuff I've built and painted.

I fancied painting up a couple more orks to bulk out the numbers of the still very tiny warband from two to four!

The heavy is a conversion from a fantasy orc with some Necromunda bits and pieces.

Here's all four to date:

As ever, more words and pics over at my blog.

Nice and subtle.

Rarely hear that about orc's.
