House Stark (update 7/28/14)
« on: July 23, 2014, 11:35:36 AM »
The start  of my future G.O.T figures.  1st House Stark, standard and trooper.  Using Reaper Bones IMEF figures with Sculpted fur cloaks on the back (which I forgot to take a picture of oh well more next time)  I am still working on the choice of color scheme I am going for mostly grays and browns but still need some pop, any suggestion welcome.

For house Lannister I am using the Reaper Nova Troopers.

Barbarella: What's that screaming? A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming...

Yeah, the IMEF are a pretty useful set of minis...keep waiting for Reaper to release the one they've been teasing about on their boards for a while. There are also a couple other mini from elsewhere that can work well to mix in as specialists...

There's a P3 colour called Coal Black (I think) that is a dark blue/grey colour that I think would work very nicely for your Starks.

A blue grey could work for the cloth sections, just enough to tint the grey and add color. Possibly some white for the emblems

these are the only ones I have seen so far, but the Bones ones are easy to convert.

I found the ones he was talking about Check out Kickstarter Bones 2 they have them pictured there.  They look great but I did not order them at the time so I have to wait till after the bone 2 ships

Oh, that IMEF Tactical Squad looks pretty cool! Are these planned for release in metal? Or is it only resin? I see Reaper has been making the move to resin which kinda sucks.

All of their current ones are both in metal and in the bones plastic...the bones ones have a built in base that matches the inside rim of the 30mm round bases used for the metal ones which means that if you get the bases, you have a lot less basing to do if you like the ones there
