These look fantastic, and they scale perfectly with the Perry's work (surely not by design  :P ).  I will definitely look at picking some up, job well done!

Matt is on of my favorite sculptors these days. Some of the pieces he did for the Partizan show freebies were / are classics.

Those look excellent! I'm just painting up my first Claymore figures (the bill unit deal) and I'm delighted with them; historical accuracy, detail, good poses, and really characterful faces. I'm just having to be careful with the bills as I'm more used to "telegraph pole" spears  lol

I'd be interested to see how they scale with 90's Peryy Bretonnians. I find the Perry HYW figures too slim to look well with their Bretonnians, but perhaps these are closer.

White Knight, use the Front rank HYW figures with bretonians.
They mix well.
The trick is how you use bases for them.

The first picture seems to be missing something. Shouldn't there be a crows foot or lever to pull the string?

Not all crossbows had to be spanned with a lever or windlass. Especially in the 13th century,  and a little way into the 14th I think, crossbows had a stirrup like the one we see here. Hooks on the belt engaged the string and the crossbow could be spanned with a hefty downward stomp.

EDIT: Thinking about it, it was more common to start kneeling and straighten up than it was to start standing and stamp down.

Been hoping for a good early HYW range to appear, these look to be just what the doctor ordered  :)
