New 15mm Dungeon Crawl Packs at Splintered Light
« on: July 24, 2014, 03:07:41 PM »
I am delighted to announce the release of 3 new packs in our 15mm Dungeon Crawl line--Dungeon Encounters 2 and 3 as well as a Black Dragon.  All figures were painted by the talented Martin Jones.

First, is the Dungeon Encounters 2 pack, sculpted by Faron Betchley.  This set includes 3 mimics in disguise form and monster form, a giant spider, a naga, a cockatrice, a basilisk, and a tentacled monster.  This set is $12.

Second, is the Dungeon Encounters 3 pack, also sculpted by Faron Betchley.  This set includes a hooked monster, a rust monster, 3 figures for slimes/jellies/oozes, a minotaur, a gargoyle (painted here as a demon), a scorbilizard (2 of them in pack and created from the imagination of Archer McBride), and a carrion beast.  This set is also $12.

Finally, is a Black Dragon, sculpted by the dragon mistress herself, Sandra Garrity.  He is about half the size of the massive Red Dragon she did a year ago and costs $15.

Here is a comparison shot of the black dragon with a pair of adventurers.

Thanks,
David

Dear David,

You need to modify your post using the Picture Frame Symbol (middle row second Symbol) so that the images Show.  The web address goes between the (img) and (/img).

Very nice. I especially like the two versions of each dungeon beastie - before and after the adventurers have poked their noses in where they shouldn't have.

Hi David, lovely new figures. I obviously need to add a dungeon to my fantasy terrain now!
You also seem to have a new painter. Very nice. That female Knight in the green cloak is one of the best painted 15mm minis i have ever seen :o

I love that spider. That thing looks like it fell right out of an old D&D module. Could you tell us how big it is? If it's big enough I could use it with my 28mm stuff. (cause I really don't want to start another scale)

Although they're too small for these Old eyes, they are FANTASTIC little creations & BEAUTIFULLY painted. GREAT WORK!

Thanks, all.

I will measure the spider this evening and get back with you.  I will also try to post a picture of one next to a 28mm figure.

Very nice.  Not my scale, but I have found the Splintered Light 15mm figures can often be worked into larger-scaled games

Cracking stuff.  Any plans for any 'dungeon furniture' in the future?  Can't have a dungeon delvers range without the delvers having a dungeon to delve in.  (Try saying that fast ten times! o_o )

I would love to do some dungeon furniture/decorations at some point relatively soon.  Trying to get all the essential critters out first.  I do have henchmen coming very soon.  The next three releases will be lizardmen, frost giants, and a chimera.

Here are the comparison pictures of the spider with a 28mm figure.  The spider is 18mm tall at highest point and 20mm long.

Not great pictures but hopefully give an idea of size.

EXCELLENT! That LOVELY Spider would work WONDERFULLY with my Goblins. Thanks for the size comparison.
