With Rajah Brooke to Serawak!
« on: June 28, 2015, 02:59:07 PM »
I was leafing through some old photo's of games long past and came upon these pics of a Rajah Brooke game from back in 2008, , based on the Flashman's Lady novel and in no small part on the Sandokan TV-series from the 70ies.

Just some eyecandy I'd like to share:

More on my blog, if you'd like to view them.

That is an outstanding looking table and collection. I must be strong here, but Brooke in Borneo has always held an attraction for me, as one of the "forgotten" colonial campaigns that has a ton of gaming potential. Makes me want to read Flashman and His Lady again! Some of your water shots are simply great.

I see you game it in 20mm. If you don't mind my asking, what figures do you use? Are they plastics?

Thank you for sharing!

Superb table! Are you using blue plastic wrapping from a florists shop for the water?

With all that rain more mud-up than dust-up, I'd think.

Indeed. What a stunning terrain and i particularly like the layout. Well done. And yes .... Sandokan ... what a great series that was. Love it. ;-)

Brilliant! I had started a project based on this, and had arrived as far as painting up Sandokan....

Very nice, I like the local ships and canoes very much. I was in Kuching in the Spring and as a result bought a selection of Eureka Dayaks to which I am in the process of sticking on the Hornbill feathers and shields. THe boats and the long uts come next.
