Lovin' me some Pulp Sci-Fi PICTURE HEAVY

Okay, so I just discovered the joy of painting space craft. Right now if it doesn't fly, I don't want to paint it.

Hydra's classic Pulp War Rockets got me hooked.  I bought some of the Imperial Class ships and loved them to bits.

Next I picked up this Rocket Rider from Counterblast. This is a pretty big model.

I'm working on the Zenithians from Hydra right now, then I want to do the Space Pirates and the Galacteers. I've also got a couple of ships coming from Counterblast this month.

That is indeed some great brushwork. Just saw Guardians of the Galaxy and it's got me wanting to paint up some pulp rockets and fight across the stars.

I think that is the key to all  levels of painting skill.  "Just" clean and tidy usually equals really good painting.
