They look very good.

Have you ever experimented with lightly dry-brushing tufts with Buff Titanium, or similar?  It can give a pleasing effect.

I have on some of my 28mm Napoleonics, http://www.briefspite.com/2011/10/14/2-musketier-bn-1-westpreussisches-ir/ , its a bit hard to see on that pic.

I might go over all the bases once I am "finished" and do some more work to them, but right now I have a mountain of lead that needs to get painted  :)

I have tried to do a few things in 6mm and they are terribly difficult to get "the right look."

You are doing a fantastic job.

Another lovely unit!  :-*

Thanks :)

They don't look like much until I do the shields and bases, I just wish my freehand was better/steadier.

Finishing 3 bases of Hoplites now, hopefully they will be completed by tomorrow.

It's great! I want to buy a viking's army in 6mm. But i don't know how to paint them. I never painted miniatures in 6mm.

Very very nice.
Shows exactly why its worth gaming in smaller scales (6 or 10mm).
well done that man!

Its great to see 6mm stuff.  You've done some wonderful work.

Just finished my first 4 bases of 6mm Early Imperial Romans in 6mm.  I'll post pics sometime soon.

Moving to such a small scale is certainly an adjustment and I needed to take some long breaks from the project because I was getting frustrated.  In the end I am really pleased with the effect I got.

Seeing your vast armies has certainly given me some incentive to forge on.  Now I just need to paint a whole boatload of cav, auxilleries, archers and more legions just to get to about half of what you are able to field  lol.

Well that's standard creative self-criticism, but in reality you're doing just fine.
