Orc Blood Bowl Team
« on: August 02, 2014, 04:15:03 PM »
Here is my first Blood Bowl team.  I painted this Orc team for my wife.

Let me know what you think.  Here is a link to my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2014/08/orc-rested-development-ork-bloodbowl.html

Here is the whole team.  I still need to paint up a few alternates, but this will get us started.

Black Orc Blockers

Thrower

Linemen and Blitzers

Let me know what you think.

Really good job! Personally I'm not a big fan of color coding, but your paints are so vibrant they actually work very well with the more muted team. Looking forward to the lizzies you mentioned on the blog.  :)

Excellent - love the classic plastic models from the 3ed box set.  I like the basing - takes me back to 2nd ed :D  I use it myself by mainly on teams where you can't see what model is which position easily (such as the GW Amazons)

Good job!

Thanks for the positive comments.  I did a very clean look on these, which isn't very orcy, but I like the look.  And since it was my first effort on a Blood Bowl team, it worked.

I hope to have the Lizard team posted in the next day or two.

Those look great.

Being pretty new to BB I'd never heard of the colour coding scheme for base edges before, it's a good idea I'll likely be adopting.

Like the name, too - Orc-rested Development! Terrible wordplay improves BB team names!

I noticed these last night after you recommended impact mini's.
