Damn it! I don't want to spend any more money on this but that is good.

That is the first figure I have seen in a long time that (for me) is an immediate Must Have. Andy's bigger figures have always been impressive sculpts but this one is going to be really special.

More!

Here's a wip of a "maggotman". Some of Ner'Gabba's minions. Based on concept art by some talented guy (;)).

Andy has announced that anyone backing the project can add to their pledge right up until shipping (Feb next year for the majority of items or May if including Madame Nur'Gabba).

<snip>Can't companies at least try to keep within a reasonable range of 28mm? <snip>

Well, 28 mm is almost double  :o all my preferred buying scale (15 mm, 18 mm) for miniatures...   ;)

Gracias,

Glenn

Some of the minion monsters might be useful as Huge 15 mm monsters...

Gracias,

Glenn

I have a couple of those ogre cyclopes (correct plural?) with a mind to turning one of them into a 10mm giant*. The weapon heads are separate bits and can be replaced, or the shaft can be left as a simple club or log, if that's a scale problem; otherwise the trophy head just needs whipped off.

Now I'm reminded of it, it'd fit much better on a 40mm frontage Mayhem base than a 20mm frontage Warmaster base. :) Now where'd I leave it again...?

*A Chaos giant, for obvious reasons. I mean, look, it's left-handed...

The Minor Cyclops would be perfect at 15mm really. Great Harryhausen style to it.

Incredible stuff :o
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Now that the Mantic KS has ended... don't forget about Heresy!
It's not just about quantity, now it's time for some quality too.

BTW, Andy has just added one of his bonus goals. Every pledge of 30 pounds or more will get a hero for free. Also, the whole roster of heroes can be added as add-ons (o er).

Just over a day to go now and two 'long shot' stretch goals:

£40,000 = A NEW MINION FOR ME, A NEW GIANT FOR YOU
If you can get all your friends to pledge a small amount, we can make this work. If we get to £40,000, then, after allowing for Kickstarter fees etc, I should be able to at last hire a new staff member to help  out in the Heresy Dungeon doing all the casting and stuff, freeing up my time to be able to make cool stuff. I've had this Giant in mind since 2006 and I reckon it would take  around a week of solid work to make; a new minion would mean I could find that time and get this adorable monster made by next summer. He'll be about 120mm - 150mm high I think.

If you think that's a good idea, and if you're convinced that it'll be as brilliant and fun a model as I do based on this sketch, you can pledge for it, but be aware it will only be produced as part of this Kickstarter if we hit £40,000 and I can hire a minion. If we don't hit £40k, you'll need to choose different rewards for your pledge because I'm going to have too much work on to make any more new figures on top of what I've already said I will do!

MAGIC TOTAL 50k:
Big wishlist thinking. If we get to £50,000, I can hire TWO minions, and will produce a Throne Room diorama for next Christmas, which will ship separately.

...I think I'd prefer the throne Room to the Giant; maybe Andy should switch them rewards around?!  lol
