Rebel minis Earth force.
« on: August 07, 2014, 09:28:41 PM »
Hi.

I saw these today and liked them.

I can't decide if they remind me a lot of the old Mongoof Starship Troopers figs, if they actually are the Mongoof Starship troopers figs, or if they used to be available at Megaminis or somewhere else. ???

Help me out, age is a terrible thing and I fear I may not sleep worrying about it. lol

I am sure Da Head Rebel will correct me if i am wrong. Those figs are indeed what you think they are. Mike has other old SST figs that have been repurposed. :-)

They look useful. A change from all the "armoured up" guys I've got so far.

I'm so glad that these are being reproduced. I always fancied getting some but before I had the chance, they disappeared...

... now I have the option again :)

Thanks for bringing this to light, hubbabubba :)

They are definately the Monfgoose SST figures I did have a box  at one time but passed them on. They were meant orignally to be plastic but were cast in metal in limited numbers, this made them worth ££££s at the time as they sold like hot cakes ;D

Many of you already recognized these as the old Mobile Infantry line from Starship Troopers. We had to make some changes to the helment, tabs ect, so as not to infringe upon the IP- but we got the go ahead and here you go!

They are up on the site here: www.Rebelminis.com

These were painted by Micropanzer!

Thanks!
