Pulp Alley Hobby Pages
« on: August 11, 2014, 09:22:37 PM »

Over the last couple of months my son Lewis and I have been really getting into Pulp Action gaming. We've tried a few rule sets like .45 Adventure and Mad Dogs with Guns which have all been very good. We finally settled for Pulp Alley as the set of rules to use for our on-going campaign.

I've added the first Pulp Alley hobby page to our Hobby Pages to share the character cards that we have created. For the first couple of games we used A4 roster sheets, which worked quiet well but decided that the best solution was to have a card with the stats for each character and a photograph so that the card could be tapped when the character has activated, as this got confusing in multi-player games.

You should be able to download the character cards to use in your own games, if you want be right mouse clicking and saving the image.

Yes, the Royal Archaeological Society (RAS) have been added to our Pulp Alley Hobby Pages.

This is the League that I will be using for the Perilous Island campaign, which we are starting on Friday, so AAR to follow! The League is lead by Professor Snow but includes the young Dr Jones who was on a sabbatical appointment to Kings at the time.

Glad you like.
I have just added another League, The Old Riponians. This is the league that my wife, Ann uses for Pulp Alley.

Their character and league card should be available to download at : http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Hobby-Pages/Pulp-Alley-28mm-Pulp-Adventure-Gaming

The Lost Keys Scenario from the main Pulp Alley book takes us to the Red-Valkyrie Government laboratory, hidden deep in the innocuous suburbia of London where the evil Professor Gotswold is intending to activate his nuclear weather control system that will ruin the British Summer for ever!

My son Lewis, has written our first Pulp Alley AAR.
It's on our Hobby pages at http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Hobby-Pages/Pulp-Alley-28mm-Pulp-Adventure-Gaming

We're also trying to enter the modern world with a Facebook page, you can like it or follow it, or whatever it is you do here. https://www.facebook.com/sally4thgames

Perilous Island Campaign - Final Flight
« Reply #9 on: September 04, 2014, 09:39:40 AM »

Yesterday we played our 2nd game in the fantastic Perilous Island campaign.
Final Flight.

The “Final Flight” scenario (episode 2 of Act 1, The Hunt), opens with the team of the Royal Archaeological Society having to stop off in Casablanca on the way to Athens. However the recent Rebel activity means that the dusty airport is full of frantic mobs and brusque soldiers; there is only one plane left on the runway and it’s a race for the goodies to get tickets for themselves and Lady Elaine Darrow, before the evil Manfred gives the mysterious arcane package to his follower to ground the plane.

We have added a full After Action Report to our Pulp Alley Hobby Pages at : http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Hobby-Pages/Pulp-Alley-28mm-Pulp-Adventure-Gaming

We also have a facebook page now where we will be adding more stuff on a regular basis: https://www.facebook.com/sally4thgames

Glad you liked the game report and the terrain. We loved playing the scenario.
The houses are from our Middle East Outremer Range :http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/28mm-Outremer-Crusades-Range

We designed them originally for The Crusades, but as the roofs come off and they have interior rooms they are great for Pulp / skirmish type gaming to.
