Spiders for use in various games.

I based up some spiders to be used in various games as either a fighting force all by themselves or as monsters that will randomly appear.

Nice paintwork and excellent variety.  A bit chunky for my tastes (blame it on the sculpts).  Very nice though, and no, I wouldn't want to run into that many giant spiders.

Why do the spiders have human faces? I think more realistic heads would be a lot more interesting. However, nicely painted and certainly a horde of distressing critters.

Lovely work mate. I always liked the Kev Adams goblinoid faces he gave to these models.

@Doomhippie:  GW has some odd models.  While they may not be realistic in appearance, they are supposed to be large enough for small person to ride on, so I guess they can look like whatever.  Overall I like the look and on the battlefield they are great (IMHO).

I might get a few big big big spiders to add to this group.  And when Halloween comes along, I think I will pick up a pack or two of smaller spiders to do up some bases with spider swarms.
