Usagi Yojimbo short

Some of you may be familiar with the series (I know of it through Stan Sakai's Sergio Aragones but have read little of it directly). This was the prototype trailer that this animation studio produced in order to secure feature film rights.

Anyway, it's all stop-motion animation, so there is some cool model-making, sculpture, and terrain on display!

Ever so slightly disappointed by that  :(

The script was truly awful along with the dialogue and the animation wasn't the best but I'd be interested to see more.

Yes, I do hope they will get it somewhat smoother for the real deal and I do not mean (only) the stop-motion they used.
