These look great!  I love the photo with the priest of Aten and the troops marching out of the temple gate!

It is really amazing what can be done with the Hirst scenery kits!   :)

Hi Relic,

basically its Vallejo 120 "buff" on all parts, and 004 "off white" on the plastering. All other colours are base colours which are a bit dull. If the paint does not fully cover that's just fine, the result will look a bit worn out and not so striking in the colour.
The real finishing touch is a thin coat of Army Painter Quick Shade strong tone covered finally with Anti Shine Matt Varnish.

cheers Thomas

Fantastic looking scenery elements. I've always loved ancient Egyptian architecture and am very envious that you have this kind of stuff to put on your table!

Thanks a lot for your comments,

as promised here are pics of our first game from last Friday.
The evil Skaven storm Aegyptus and will hopefully be expelled by combined efforts of Asar, Anubi, Heru and Khemru ...
We use a mix of WAB and WFB rules and army lists.

cheers Thomas

Cool stuff
where did that Hippo warrior come from?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Beautiful work!  The terrain and the armies look great!

I'll echo the Gray Ghost's question - where did that Hippopotamus Man come from?  I want one!
