Sorry to hear of the mold line nice save with the scar,

It was the only way to save that face  :'(

Today I'm planning on repainting another Heroclix, but this time it's going to be an Allied hero.

And here's my first Allied hero. It's called "Bunker" and it's a homage to one of my favorite heroes in the "Sentinels of the Multiverse" card game. Here's his official biography:

Quote
Corporal Carter was a good soldier. He followed his orders and got work done. He was good with guns and tech, so he was given a lot of responsibilities. However, regardless of how hard he worked, he was never so much as in line for promotions beyond “corporal”. So, when he was approached by the Ironclad Project and offered a chance to work as a specialized “Mechanized Corporal”, he figured it was the best chance he was going to get.

Mechanized Corporal Carter was the first operator of a “Bunker” suit in real combat situations. And he found his way into plenty of real combat situations! The suit went through many changes and revisions as it took damage, and Carter got better and better at pushing the capabilities of his armor to the limits. He could even go head to head with tanks, earning him the nickname “Panzer-Buster”.

The figure is a Heroclix "Iron Monger". I wanted to paint it quickly, so I didn't prime it and that was a mistake, there were some parts were the paint didn't really grab. Need to varnish it rapidly, lol.

Glad you liked it, it was my intention doing the same on the central reactor, but I don't have the skills for it. But the fingers worked out ok.

Didn't paint anything, but I prepared some miniatures for further work  o_o

Some German Villains (from left to right: Battleship Siegmund; "Göring"; Fafnir and Totenmeister)

And some Allied Heroes! (from left to right: Future G.I.; Patriot- my version of Bucky; Red Storm and A.P.E. Man)

In case you guys are wondering, A.P.E Man doesn't have a big head, but the combination of the helmet/proximity of the camera makes it look bigger than it is.

I blame this on Ballardian's topic! I went ahead and bought a box of Kastelan Robots from the Evil Empire! These are really nice, and once you cut all the Cult Mechanicus symbols, they make great GI Robots  ;D

If you cut the tabs on the legs, you can position them any way you want. That's what I did on the left one. The torso and the arms aren't glued in place and I won't do that until I paint them. I've also made the "hands" swapable so I can choose between the weapons and the fists:

Here's the left guy saying "Hi!" with its new hand (there's going to be a crushed German soldier soon...)

I saw some tutorials on using magnets to swap the hands, but I ended up just trimming the arm connection. Now I just need to pop the different hands in and out:

I have a nice excuse- at my workplace I can order and buy the GW products with 20% discount, so I don't mind buying some of their stuff once in a while. And I have to say that these new kits are really great in terms of quality and building easiness.

And the Evil Empire attacks again!

The Red Skull with his personal bodyguards, enhanced with Mutant Growth Hormone. Some of the most stable examples in "Projekt Über-soldaten". They are know as "Ogres" by the Allies

And here's a closer look at the reservoirs (a bit from the Kastelan Robots) some of them use on their backs, filled with a potent cocktail of drugs that keeps them going, even beyond the limits of "normal" enhanced soldiers.

A close-combat specialist (not known for his intelligence)

But don't despair! The Allies have a new hero, Blazing Skull (I love this sculpt)

And all the figures I was working on:

Hail Hydra indeed!  ;D In the end I bought some damaged Hydra decals from Company B. I guess they were from a project other than yours, since it was a single sheet with only red and black transfers. I've got a big V2 and a special weapons waiting for them  ;)

I'm getting pleasantly surprised with the Heroclix figures. Under all that paint you get some really nice figures. I stripped the Baron Zemo figure today and it looks great. Now I just need to paint it (along with most of Clix I showed here, lol).
