"I don't know quite what they are up to in their, but I fear they are up to no good...."

I've had quite a few requests to add additional doors and windows, so this is a bit of a work in progress shot. I hope to get them out next week and will let you know how I progress.

Their are more photos of this 'set' in our photo gallery at http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Terra-Blocks/Terra-Block-Gallery.
I'm intending to leave it set up on the workbench and have a game of Pulp Alley with my son when he comes over at the weekend.

Can I ask why the straight wall sections have those little corner tabs on them? It seems like it just means that straight walls end up having little buttresses every few meters... Is it something to do with joining them together?

The walls have been designed with those buttresses for strength and to ensure that when they are assembled the walls are at 90 degrees. I know it is a compromise, but it does really add to the durability of the system.

If you don't like them in your room interior, you can just turn the pieces around and have the buttresses on the outside of your games 'set'. I am planning to wallpaper the outsides of some pieces with dolls house wall paper so that my set is reversible. I will then be able to use the sides with buttresses for industrial factory / warehouse type 'sets' and turn them around to use the wallpapered sides for the inside of restaurants and apartments.

Grid or No Grid?

This is a Loading Bay for Terra-Blocks range. I've had a lot of requests for pieces with wooden flooring. I like to be able to see a 1" / 25mm grid on floors so I don't need to be using a tape-measure inside buildings, however it does detract a bit from 'realism' of model. If you have an opinion, could you leave a comment for me at https://www.facebook.com/sally4thgames

I REALLY like this!  I want cold war/Y2k/post 9/11 survivalist bunkers to my post-apoc Zombie games and this is a great way to pull it off.  By virtue the bunkers are not very big in the very best of circumstances, so the D-lux set would work perfectly, and be modular enough to work for a variety of different layouts.  I also appreciate seeing the pics of 20mm as that's the scale I play in for these games.  Cheers!

I'd say no grid. The wood effect looks good.

I'd prefer no grid personally.

Glad you're looking at wooden floors.

Thanks for all your comments. We are looking to make the loading bay and wooden floor tiles available to order next week and will probably have an option for no grid and with the discrete little crosses to mark a grid shown in the photo of the loading bay, as Pulp gamers seem to say no grid and D&D and Star Wars gamers seem to like a grid.

We have photos in the Terra-Blocks gallery of 15mm & 20mm games set up on Terra-Blocks, so if you have not seen them they are at: http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Terra-Blocks/Terra-Block-Gallery

This week we have added the following items to the Terra-Block Range:

TB020   5cm x 10cm tile double height with arched window
TB021   5cm x 10cm tile double height wall with four strip windows
TB022   5cm square wall with rectangular window
TB023   5cm x 10cm double height wall with door opening
TB024   Double Door Wood Style 1

Full details of these at:http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Terra-Blocks

We have also set up a Facebook page, so if you would like to follow us we are at:https://www.facebook.com/sally4thgames

This week’s Terra Block release from Sally 4th is themed around representing warehouses and other storage facilities on the gaming table. Using the generic Terra-Block pieces that have already been released, together with this week’s warehouse themed release enables gamers to create facilities off all shapes and sizes.

The release includes a loading bay which includes a raised platform either side of the wall with wooden decking and working sliding doors, platform and ramp sections with wooden decking, three sizes of wooden floor tiles and some handy wooden packing crates.

Terra-Blocks in play during last weeks Vice Alley game. This time just used to provide some partial buildings on the corners of the table.

Glad you like the Shotgun Shacks, the shacks and the roads are not part of the Terra-Block range, but they are Sally 4th products from our Modern Buildings and Roads range which is at http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/28mm-WW2-Wargame-Buildings
