Tentacle Trixie (maybe not work safe!)
« on: August 15, 2008, 11:46:25 AM »
I took this photo of Trixie painted in seethorugh wetlook dress. The monster is an edible pickled octopus. Yum!

I now have a greasy fish smelling bit of terrain too.

Looks great. I was about to ask where that incredibly lifelike octopus came from, however after reading your post again....... I think I'll skip the smelly terrain step  lol

You forgot to say no animals were harmed during the taking of the photo. Nice. 8)

Although that particular Hokusai print has a rather dubious legacy... :-X

That looks great! I may steal your idea for some game photos of my own! Also, that is a great paint job on the model...and a great model...so...great! :D

Thanks for the nice comments. The top tentacle is actually computered in, I also touched up her eyes digitally too. Ahh, digital photography is ace.

Boo! Cheat!  lol

Now you mention it, I can see a slight difference in that tentacle, but it's very well done.

Ha, cheating!? You cant cheat with images, it either looks good or it doesnt. I think digital is great because otherwise sometimes its just impossible to get the shot you want. I kept trying to hook the tentacles over the model, but the dead calimary rufused to cooperate! BRING IN ZE COMPUTERS!

Its and interesting point actually. I do quite often doctor photos. Usually its reducing glare, removing dirt specks that appear and messing with colour/contrast.
