Dear M.P.
I am really delighted that you are interested in sculpting personality figures for the Long Turkish War of 1593 - 1606 - both in 1:72 (20mm) and 1:100 (15mm)!
In fact, I have joined Lead Adventure specifically to contact _you_!
Please keep us up-to-date with any future plans to manufacture these figures for sale.
I have been doing postgraduate research on the Long Turkish War, so I have been thinking about also writing some wargames magazine articles or maybe a 'Wargamers Guide to the Long Turkish War' book.
So, I would be happy to promote your figures!
(This is not empty talk: I have already written for 'Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy' and I am now an officially approved reviewer for 'Miniature Wargames and Battlegames').
Please would you do some mounted personality figures?
After all, these commanders would all be on horseback in battle. (There is a good equestrian statue of Mihai Viteazul / Michael the Brave in the middle of Bucharest that could be good inspiration!).
I have some good quality copies of contemporary portraits to help you, but I am completely new to this forum, so I am not sure of how to post up pictures.
Best wishes, Daniel.
Hi,
usually I'm sculpting in 1/72 scale (20 mm) but I've wanted to try the 15 mm scale, so here they are:
Hope you like them.
