Renault FT 17 Tanks
« on: November 01, 2014, 07:58:48 PM »

HaT Industrie Renault FT 17 tanks. The kit comes with 2 models with the possibility to either make them with machine guns or canon - these are the newer editions and are in hard plastic - from what I understand the early ones were in soft plastic. So below are 4 tanks 2 kits worth.

The kits go together well, though the way the track/wheel sides mount on could be better, flash is minimal but detail could be finer in places - they are ideal for wargaming and much cheaper then white metal and resin kits and more readily available.

They are ideal for WWI and interwar - I am using them largely for RCW. Evidently some of these tanks even landed up in Afghanistan.

Nice painiting. It really is a useful kit (I only have one in 28mm). I think it's time to get some 15mm ones (it even was used in WWII!).
