White glitter for snow
« on: September 09, 2014, 10:40:43 PM »
I've been using WS snow for a while now for bases and terrain and though it gives a great flaky texture I find it lacks the sparkle that snow often has.

Sainsbury currently has some cheap white glitter (in a 4 pack with rather vibrant pink / purples for £2) that I am going to try this weekend as a little addition to see if the sparkle stays on and helps the look.

Problem I have is that I normally use a matt varnish to help seal the bases and I do not know what will happen...

Just wondering if anyone has tried glitter and matt varnish or if you have another solution for keeping the WS snow on the bases?
