Dead Man's Hand - Desperados Gang

While i'm waiting for the postie to arrive with my Redoubt Bushwhacker order i thought i'd post a couple of shots of my Desperados.

These have been languishing in a box after an attack of lead rot (sic) which seemed to occur after using old 2p coins and pumice gel as a basing material. I'd dragged them off their bases and they've been lying neglected for a couple of years or more after another Cowboy project started briefly and then sunk.

I'm late of course to the Dead Man's Hand party but i thought that these would be ideal if i could salvage them. Over the last week i've been rebasing them and touching up the paintwork. Luckily most of the damage occured around the feet area.

I also have a few unpainted Dixon armed civilian figures that Scrivs gave me a while back that would be ideal to use as support in the Stranger Scenarios out of Wargames Illustrated (Jan 2014).The Cowboy on the left armed with the Repeater may get used as the Stranger for this and i'll paint up another Desperado as i have a couple spare still.

Artizan figures if i remember correctly ...

Excellent. I've been touching these up a little, oh err, as some of the faces looked washed out. I've also lost some of the grey, as there was too much of good thing going off.

Finally I've  bought in a rather splendid Earp Gang with Doc Holliday

Mexican Bandit 2 - Pistol
Mexican Bandit 3 - Pistol

I'll flesh these out with the Dixon armed civilians.
