I'm so happy to have found this thread. It is amazing how much excellent brushwork is assembled here and how much the spirit of Rogue Trader lives on in it!

Lovely stuff here hubbabubba, well done!

I personally always had a soft spot for the RT-era IG armies, not least because I never saw all that many of them over the years.

If you would like some suitable chunky robots that would fit right in with these old models, I would suggest having a look at Pig Iron's Wardroids - they look perfect with the right paintjob (despite what they look like in the store pictures), and are the right size too.

I can't quite figure out why GW hasn't made a set of plastic beakie marines. They would be printing money.

I suspect that they will do it eventually- from what I understand they have done two earlier marks of power armor in the Heresy boxes, and it's a matter of time before Mark 5 and 6 show up.
