I'm so happy to have found this thread. It is amazing how much excellent brushwork is assembled here and how much the spirit of Rogue Trader lives on in it!

Thanks for sharing!

Whilst the Zoats are great, I have to say that my mind was completely taken back with that Army Dread.
Amazing work on that big lad!

Lovely stuff here hubbabubba, well done! :)

I personally always had a soft spot for the RT-era IG armies, not least because I never saw all that many of them over the years.

If you would like some suitable chunky robots that would fit right in with these old models, I would suggest having a look at Pig Iron's Wardroids - they look perfect with the right paintjob (despite what they look like in the store pictures), and are the right size too. :)

Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen those Space Zoats - they still look good, nice work!

Brings back memories (not the painting that is far superior to my efforts then - and probably now).

I do wonder if GW are going to bring out a retro set for Rogue Trader?

I do wonder if GW are going to bring out a retro set for Rogue Trader?

I can't quite figure out why GW hasn't made a set of plastic beakie marines. They would be printing money.

I suspect that they will do it eventually- from what I understand they have done two earlier marks of power armor in the Heresy boxes, and it's a matter of time before Mark 5 and 6 show up.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Haha. My evil plans for reducing all known life down to the level of nutrient soup  grow closer to fruition  ;D

Another Squad of unstoppable zoat warriors ready to squish all that they encounter.

One more to go. and then a couple of squads of their vicious little masters before I move on.

And a shot of the two sqads together.

Thanks for all the kind words gents.

That's the most Zoats I've seen assembled in one spot :)

Great painting as well!
