Ooooh, I don't recall that event, but sounds exactly like the kind of thing I'd love to be in! :D

Of course, Chris is one of the authors of GASLIGHT, so it was a bit Victorian, but I could imagine a Future Wars version with anti-grav threads woofed to propulsion threads, just the thing for a future tosser.  lol

The original game had a proper circuit to follow, with plenty of high cliff walls to meet, in the most unfortunate manner. Not unlike a certain 'pod race.'  ;)

I remember Jamie doing the flying carpet races using his Future Race rules.
Missed Chris doing one. But since i haven't seen Jamie at a con in some time i wouldn't be surprised.

I'm back with some more cheap scenery :D

Many moons ago I told you in this very thread how I used an old air refreshener to add volume to a larger structure. The idea got stuck in my mind, and with time I got a couple more of them. Using them in combination with a little box, I thought of these tiny houses with their own courtyard :P

Well, you'll envision better the idea in dirty grey:

Now just some regular stuff people in the hive would have...

The clothes line is... well, just a piece of actual cloth custom cut :D. The well is nothing but a spare piece from a tap after some home repairs.

The flower pots are made with little pieces and bristles from an old brush. The garden table is just the spare button you get when you buy new trousers.

On the other house we have a superglue cap power generator:

A thing I kept in mind during the whole process was storage:

I've realised that the 'on a budget' thing is but a mere excuse to build silly stuff ;D

Wonderful job! On-a-budget modeling is just a form of art  lol.

I've made some more improvements from different sources.
First of all, these little items from Valquiria Studio (from their sci-fi and post-apoc ranges).

Power generator and beacons:

Control consoles:

Supplies and mines

Alien eggs (ew!). Translucent resin stuff:

More resin stuff:

Tokens:

About those tins, the upper one has a mere 'Prandium' on it (just Latin Gothic for 'food', I'm keeping it within 40K standards). Below, one of them has the Blue Sun logo (I'm also keeping it Firefly friendly!)

The other one just has a bad pun: 'Bona Mala', which one could say means 'Good/Bad' really translates as 'Nice Apples'

More stuff, this time from TT Combat. Urban pieces to dress up a board :)

Besides, some street lamps by Fenris Games. I need lots more, and more sci-fi looking, but these were too good for the Price to let them go:

As usual, you can find it all on the blog.

Neat.

I especially like the stack of cans and the water bottles.

Interesting range, thanks for bringing them to our attention.

I like your scenery very much. The little details make it evocative.
