Allen Curtis has passed away.
« on: September 21, 2014, 11:26:08 PM »
Very sad news. Allen Curtis a well known contributor to a number of wargaming forums passed away last Friday. Sad loss to the gaming scene.

Ficou marcado na história

Wow, that is really sad news. When I first started in historicals, he provided me with a wealth of advice on various forums. I even got the chance to meet him once in person at a con, and as it's been stated, he was a gent. Our community is poorer without him.

My condolences  to his family

Very sad news indeed. I always enjoyed Allen. He helped me so much when I was a newbie years ago.  :'(

I only one had or two brief exchanges with Allen, notably back in the heyday of the WABlist but I always read his post on various forums and sites with interest.  Allen always seemed amazingly knowledgeable and helpful.  He will be missed.

This is sad news.

My personal contact with Allen was limited, but I will always remember him fondly.

I would have liked to send flowers, but there was no date set and I don't want them to arrive late or wilt in the funeral home.

Like others, Allen was a huge help to me over the years. I will miss him, even though I never met him.

I never met him in person but online he was always a gent and fair with what he said, even when being critical.

RIP.
