Looking good, and toy/kit bashes are a lot of fun. Have you held it and moved it around going "pew-pew-pew" yet?

The gun block hanging down from the main body of the craft looks a little odd to me, but overall it's looking good.

Thanks for the props!  The goal of the gunship is a kind of super-weaponized death machine parody.  It's more of a fun project than anything I would dare game with.  When I get that baby finished it will be covered in missile racks, rail guns, drone bays, a couple of chain guns and everything else pew.

I actually have to give Ironworker some credit.  I borrow alot of his ideas from his blog.  I think we find alot of our respective kitbash swag from the same Dollar General store!

Lol.  I thought I recognized some of those guns on your gunship from the M.A.R.S. Heros toys.  What did you use for the main part of the gunship?

The cockpit and afterburners are from a GI Joe Walker-Vehicle.  The primary fuselage, wings etc were a broken spaceship toy I found for fifty cents at a Salvation Army store.

I actually did up some MARS Hero bots and some other Dollar General tanks.  I'll post them as soon as I get time to take decent photos.

I think that is a Rise of Cobra either Night Raven or Nightbird. I've an old Night Raven, with BIG wings. Even though I never really played, I worked up a RT scenario around it.

[Edit: Sorry about the confusion on the name; plenty of folk saying 'Night Raven', but only seeing boxes named Nightbird.]

Serendipity, found a piccie of a GI Joe 'Howler(?)'? Great as a troop transport, but really looks like an old school Terminator Flying Hunter-Killer!

Really like the red one, looks great, but I agree that it's a tad busy as is. IMO you should lose some of the gubbins.
