More Americans (and some older germans), better pics
« on: August 23, 2008, 03:11:09 PM »
Turns out my new cellphone has a better camera than my real camera. So here are the latest additions and clearer pictures. Now need to work on lighting and stuff, so that highlights show up better, but these were all taken with natural light and it's not exactly a sunny day...

At least you can see that my painting is not up to this forums distressingly high standard. lol um... :(

Eureka camera girl and two more SOTR gasmask grunts.

The other two robots, flanking the first one.

And while I was taking pictures anyway, some older German stuff:

Crusader Minis conversions.

Foundry-WestWind-GW conversion:

Yes, I wanted to introduce something cthulhu-esque into my weird war and this was it. But the big C isn't a nazi. More likely nazis messing with occult powers they don't understand.
The one on the far right was inspired by a chaos in cairo miniature that had tentacles for a face and it occurred to me that wasn't too difficult a conversion to attempt. One thing lead to another and all of a sudden I found myself on ebay ordering a GW chaos lord on slaanesh steed because I had this vision for an officer on a demonic steed. ::)

Sure! I was just paraphrasing one of my fave Simpsons sequences...
"I served on the PT-109 with John F. Kennedy. And I was the first to discover his shameful secret..."
"Ick bin ein Berliner!"
"He´s a Nazi! Get him!"

lol
