Perilous Island Set Dec. Dept.
« on: October 01, 2014, 07:28:03 PM »
As the launch of our Perilous Island Campaign approaches, the pressure is on to make sure all the props and plot-points we need are ready to set the scene. Here is the big load of useful bits and pieces that has rolled off the workbench and on to our 'back-lot' during the last few weeks...

Slug Industries makes this truly wonderful & well loved set of luggage and steamer-trunks.

These Copplestone Castings fossils come with a great 'Chinese Porter' figure. Must buy another pack, just for the porter chappy.

Canopic Jars from Fenris Games. These look great. Such mysterious little jars. What sort of potent voodoo do they contain?

More Fenris. These foreboding Foo Dogs are in a rather ruinous condition.

Pardulon crates & barrels. So very useful, these can find a place on almost any table, for any scenario.

Ainsty Tea Chests... Tea sustains me. I love that it can play a part on my tabletop. Thank you Ainsty.

Renedra Generics produce a selection of useful tents at a reasonable price... Kicking myself for not buying the set with the very fine looking 'bell-tent'. May just get one anyhow.

Ok, wow, that's a lot of stuff. The challenge with this sort of kit is always how to store it so it remains handy and protected.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

A very cool selection sir. Those Slug Industry luggage sets are great. They may make an appearance at BLAM.

I really like the Slug Industries luggage and steamer trunks.  I went to what I think is their online store and could not find the luggage and steamer trunks or much of anything else, and I really didn't understand how the site works.  I have no doubt that I am missing something obvious, but obvious or not I'm missing it.  Can someone tell me how to see the prices, the ordering process and the S&H costs?  Sorry I'm so thick, but I would appreciate any help that can be offered.  Thanks.  Richard

Cool stuff, they will look great in action!

@Richard: Slug uses a PDF with all items. On the last page you can find the ordering information. And be aware before opening the PDF you will probably want to order a lot ;)

They are indeed.
That may be two appearances at BLAM, then.

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind words.

This certainly was a 'LAF' inspired summer at the old workbench; everything posted here I learned about via this fine forum.

Slug, Fenris, Pardulon, Ainsty, Copplestone and Renedra.... I don't know if that's the name of a legal firm or the start of an eldritch incantation, but they are all names I was introduced to here.  ;D

Some of you might not know it, but Slug Industries is our very own 6milphil. I've bought the luggage set directly from him. :)
