Anybody had a go at painting this fellow...

"Wot did you do in the war Grandad?"

"I was with Harry... At The Bridge!"

I did him twice recently; i.e., once as St. Lascivious, Patron Saint of Ladies of Easier Virtue the Living Impaired Man & once as his statue:

...he looks better in the flesh...so to speak.

No mate, quite the opposite, it's just the kind of help I wanted! If I can get my little bloke looking half as dastardly as St. Lascivious, Patron Saint of Ladies of Easier Virtue the Living Impaired Man I'll be well happy.
It's my first foray into fantasy figures after nearly 50 years playing 'proper' wargames... I need all the advice I can get on how to paint the little bleeders!

:)

I'm glad I didn't take it in the wrong direction. I can identify with the switch to Fantasy. While the freedom to be bound solely by the limits of your own imagination is the main allure of Fantasy, for Historical types the sense that one needs to research the subject is still there. I think that's one of the reasons that gaming novels like Lord of the Rings & the Game of Thrones is popular with many former Historical Gamers. I'm 30 plus years away from my Napoleonic Armies, but I still checked out ecclesiastical garb for St. Lascivious...traditional black & the red of a Cardinal.
