Mutants and Death Ray Guns - First Game
« on: October 05, 2014, 08:24:40 PM »
I tried out Mutants and Death Ray Guns (from Ganesha Games) last night with Amanda and the kids. For a full report (and lots of pictures) of the ensuing shenannigans check out my blog:

http://saskminigamer.blogspot.ca/2014/10/mutants-and-death-ray-guns-first-game.html

Here are a few of the highlights of the action:

The scenario included a bunch of searchable locations where the survivors could find artifacts (or deadly MUTANT TERMITES!)

The first bit of action: The Girls android takes a few pot shots at the Boyz.

The two bands of survivors finally face off - after a bit of maneuvering and searching for artifacts - but mostly only finding Mutants Termites! (two of the survivors are terminally infected at this point...)

Initially the exchange was going well for the Grrrlz but things went south pretty quickly when the Mutant Gorilla started using his telepathic attacks and caused two of the Grrlz to slip into comas!

Good fun was had by all - i definitely think this one's a keeper - we'll have to try out a campaign soon!

Kid terminal; exactly my thoughts when I read MaDRG, having played a few games I can confirm this is the case,

Feels just like our old gamma world games of yore.

Tim; excellent work, like the report and the game looked like a blast
