I painted these earlier on in the year and forgot to post, stumbled across them on the pc some here are some photos of my finished figs, Saxons are Gripping Beast and Romano Brits Musketeer

Thanks for the very kind comments. At some point in the future i am aiming for a pict ans irish army plus some mounted troops for the british.

I agree with the above, they look great! How many colours / shades do you use to get the skin tone on their faces?

The skin was painted using Vallejo panzer aces shadows flesh then flesh base, finished with Vallejo model colour flat flesh highlight, no mixing,
 I got this reciepe from Artmaster Studios youtube videos, very handy indeed.
