Very, very nice indeed.

I've heard mixed opinions of this company, but from the photo here, they really do look the part.  Stature, posing, facial expressions - absolutely superb. In fact, if this photo has really captured the figures as they actually are, I'd say these are some of the nicest AWI figures I've ever seen.

Of course, it may be that I'm dazzled by your excellent painting, which has really brought out the very best in these figures.  Those faces - love them!

Thanks gentlemen! Arteis, you're too kind  :D the paintwork really isn't anything special. Just basecoats and Army Painter Dark tone. dipping them accentuates the detail of the figures. makes painting them really easy  :)

@ Romark. It is likely there will be a box on Hessian infantry and there's a good chance there will be some generic artillery. Personally, I think the last box will be French infantry

They look superb!

Roly, the mixed reviews mostly are of their very early stuff, under different management. WF have improved by leaps and bounds with every new release. The faces really are that good. Quite unlike the ugly cartoon mugs that adorn the Warlord games/Bolt Action figures and the detail really comes out with a wash.

I think WF is pretty good about "flushing" out the historical units like this.  I fully expect artillery/cavalry for both (maybe with swappable heads - so dual purpose).  The indians are really exciting to me.  French maybe...how many of these kits could be used for a FIW?

The infantry uniform is quite different and the grenadiers should have mitres, Indians and anyone in hunting shirts would be quite useful though. When you say "flushing" you mean like flushing a WC?! A bit harsh, but I see what you mean!!!

I like them. Except the open mouth face. Wgf have done a very similar face in the samurai range too and I don't think it works well there either.

"flushing",perhaps it should have read fleshing ?
Anyway,I'd be pleased if one of the new boxed sets would be Hessians, they would surely be popular.

I may have meant "fleshing" but I think flushing is more interesting, so I'll stick with that!  lol
