Received figures today, so here's a short review. Figures are a true 28mm size and are not large heroic scale i.e 30mm plus. There is the odd mould line and a little flash to clean, but not too bad at all. My favourite figures are Ragnar, Harald Hardrada, Alfred the great and the Sutton hoo guy. Out of the two sets the Vikings get the edge, as some of the Saxons are a bit static. I am mainly painting up the later period figures and will have a few left to trade or sell.

If anybody is interested I will trade these for Empress Zulu war figures or Boot Hill Mexican cavalry, Galloping Major Indians. I will also sell at £1.50 each plus post.  Pm me if interested. THE CID.

Hi Cid,

Any chance you could do a side by side photo comparison perhaps with Perry miniatures and Gripping Beast figures if you have them?

Failing that, are they of a 'heft' that would match the Gripping Beast plastic boxed sets?

Cheers

My order arrived this morning, they will mix okay with Artizan and the 'newer' Foundry figures.
