Song of Drums and Shackos for the Texan War of Independence.

Hello all

I´m thinking on using the rules set SDS for the Texan War of Independence.
Does anyone ever tried it and if so what profiles did you used?
The mexicans i can copy from the french ones with some modifications for the diferent types of soldiers but the texans are the dificulty because there are a few diferent types of combatants. Us deserters like regulars but the rest ?

Help needed please.
