Sam and Dean versus the Supernatural - a Pulp Alley AAR
« on: October 20, 2014, 02:30:53 AM »
Here are some highlights from one of the Pulp Alley games we played over the weekend -  part of our Vice Alley campaign. We're not quite done with all the buildings and terrain, but that doesn't stop us from playing. :)

Lured to Vice Alley, Sam and Dean respond to a desperate plea for help. Mayor Dinkins daughter has disappeared!

Sam and Dean are ambushed as they appraoch their contacts. It's a trap!

Fighting off their attackers, Sam and Dean continue their investigation. Questioning the contacts pays off!

As they approach a suspicious truck, they are ambushed by more purple robed cultists. The fighting is fierce.

Realizing that their trap has failed, the cultists attempt to escape with their captive - hidden in the back of the truck!

The leader of the cultists takes the girl and begins to flee but Sam and Dean are on them before they can make their getaway!

The cultist leader seems impossible to hit and slips away from Dean - "What magic is this?!"

Leaping away from Dean with inhuman speed, the cultist leader cast bones to the ground and two minor daemons suddenly spawn!

The minor minions of evil are no match for Dean, but they slow him down enough to let their weird master make good his escape.

Sam and Dean lost the scenario but still earned +1 Backup and +1 Experience.
The Cultists won and got +1 Experience, +1 Tip, and +1 Gear. They also added a Newsstand to their locations.

Vice Alley is looking mighty good, I must say!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Thanks for the comments.  :-*

Most of them are resin buildings by Old Glory.

Great looking game and just another day in the life of moose and squirrel.

Now you just need to find a good period stand in for the Impala.

I've been looking for a nice black 4-door touring sedan. They all pretty much look alike in the 1930's. lol

Look on ebay for 1/48 Testors kits. They did a bunch of early 30s cool cars that are easy to build and look great. My suggestion would be they 1930 Packard or 31 Cadillac. Those two has very aggressive lines for the times, would look great in black and have lots of room for hunting gear.  ;)

Mila, for my "Big Sedan" I bought the Matchbox MoY 1931 Mercedes 770. Mine was red, but you could easily paint it black;)

I think there's a $12 one ending later today on That Auction Website (pale grey & blue), if you catch it quick that's not a bad deal.

Matchbox MoY has lots of great cars to chose from including a 1930 Packard.

Whatever he gets Dean will be riding in style.
Unless bobby loans him a van.
