A bit of French and Indian War
« on: October 21, 2014, 04:40:32 AM »
http://steeplechasingzebras.blogspot.com/

I tried to post a photo and not sure what went wrong.  But for those of you who want to visit my blog you can see a nice selection of my French and Indian War figures in situ on my new terrain setup.  I'm not going to win awards for my painting but they work just fine as playing pieces.  Visit both the French and Indian War page and the Scenery page to get the best understanding of what I've been up to most recently.  Enjoy.

von Lucky, thanks for posting the teaser.  That image shows the French, four companies each of two "platoons".

Step by step to post images.

1. Open a "new topic" or "reply" window
2. Go to a page on your blog (ie http://steeplechasingzebras.blogspot.com.au/p/french-and-indian-war.html)
3. Right mouse click over an image and select "view image"
4. Copying the URL (ie http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QbCNIqt-QB4/VEXIg3kCoqI/AAAAAAAADQw/HtWpc27fVkQ/s1600/DSCN0382.JPG) - they will usually end in ".jpg", ".jpeg" or ".gif"
5. Paste URL in the window you opened in step 1.
6. Highlight the URL and select the second image above the smileys ()
7. Image is ready to "post" or "preview"

Testing posting a photo:

Seems to have worked.  Looks like what I was doing wrong was trying to post the image rather than the URL to the image.  Now, if it did indeed work, will I remember this the next time I want to do it!   ::)
