Inspirational Music Thread 2.0 Electric Boogaloo
« on: October 22, 2014, 04:52:01 PM »
We are back, Ladies and Gentlemen. Arlequin is allowing me to start a new thread, so we can get the creative juices flowing.

Disclaimer: LAF is politically neutral and and we want to ensure that it remains so.Visual content and lyrics must be a-political. For example; a song that is a reminiscence of the experience of a war is fine, but a song calling for one is not.

So, to start things off, my next project is going to be painting up a mini from s00p's Wild in the Streets range of minis, so I thought it would be fitting that these songs will be my project's soundtrack.

Well you'd have to go find these yourselves but gaming years ago we'd attribute tracks to various units so

Run through the Jungle - VC main forces
Street fighting man - combat engineers (from a big Warsaw 1944 game)
Rescue me - USAF Jolly Green Giant/A-1E Skyraiders on-table for downed helicopter pilots
Bad moon rising - VC Sappers
Free Ride (Edger Winter Band) - Helicopter assault
And of course (after the film) Ride of the Valkyrie - Aerial Rocket Artillery

Is that what you're thinking about?
On the balance the helicopter gunship is also mightier than the sword
