But I do have to pull you up on one thing: What do you mean the '15 year old boy'.....?
You mean that your view on that kind of thing has changed since...?

That looks loads better and makes you wonder why they didn't do it like that in the first place?

Looks great, though I must say that quite the er... uh... package she's got there, Andy. Maybe smooth that down a bit?  ;)

Wow! i totally missed this thread!!

And i'm glad you used my tutorial for the concrete effect! :)

I'm glad the man I stole borrowed the idea from approves! ;) :D

Thanks Sangennaru! Your work is an inspiration!

Great to see some more work on this :)

Can't wait to see some shots of the terrain!

Thanks Cheetor!

It may be a wee while before new terrain is pictured, I've got other stuff to finish, but at least i can do some painting at work. ;)

Although saying that, there is a couple of bits i haven't shown here yet!

Brilliant, mate.

When i say 'the 15 year old boy in me' i mean the operation hasn't been sucessful! ;)

Cheers Paul!

Thanks Fram! I'm hoping it's just a trick of the light on green stuff. Hopefully some paint in the right places sorts that out! :o

Thanks everyone for the supportive comments! :D

I'm feeling the pressure now! ;)

Phwoar, I just love this thread. :-*

Thanks Duff! All your 2000AD stuff is an inspiration! Is there any tips from the master of NMM (and general painting amazingness!). I'm doing the big version of Foundry's Hammerstein next and and love to try the NMM method.

This makes me think of a couple of necromunda boards, this classic vertical one might contain some ideas of how to arrange a vertical gaming area

Then there is this table on the thenickenninja blog.
http://thenickeninja.wordpress.com/2014/07/28/short-clip/
It's still a work in progress and obviously a bit scrappier than MC1 but it shows what can be done with scrap materials and a bit of hard work, it's well worth scrolling through his blog and having a look at his stuff.

Then there was this guy who took apart some water pistols in order to make some MC1 towers.

I'm sure there are painted versions somewhere but I can't find them.

Brilliant! Possibly the most inspirational thing I have yet seen on here, and it was posted nearly a year ago. I could easily have missed it. I take it this was originally in White Dwarf? Anyway, looking forward to putting something together for a bit of Black Ops spy Fi in due course. Thanks for posting!

Just a quick family photo......

Dredd and Anderson were painted at the same time using the same mixes. The only difference is, I've varnished Anderson with whats supposed to be matt varnish. She's very shiny and doesn't take well to photographs! :?
