I got a couple of wee extra Antenocities cars recently. This is the first one. WARNING! No airbrushes were harmed in the painting of this wee beastie! Its all drybrushing and edge highlighting.

That is exactly what I will be doing with mine*, as I am hoping for a slightly dingier look for my setting.
I bet they wont look anywhere near as nice as your little showroom examples, though.... >:D

Did I mention that I hate you?

Superb job Andy. The Antenociti cars look to be reasonable value for money.

Awesome paintjob man! Lovely coloring and slick blends. But why not with an airbrush (unless you don't have one of course!). Seems so much easier to get the blends and typical glossy car finish done. But still, what you did is pure awesome.

Very nice Andy! I dont use an airbrush either and can get fantastic shading with the wash, remove and slow gradual highlights.

I really like how it has turned out mate! You chose a very fast bold colour for such an expensive machine, nice one!  :-*  :-*

Cheers
Matt

Not bad But you missed a bit where is the reflection on the wing mirrors
You can borrow my airbrush any time
You will need a multi - story car park for 2000AD with all the cars you are going to have

Who needs an airbrush? ;) Way too much cleaning involved!

Can't wait to see your version mate!

BTW its always nice to be hated!

The reflections are there! You just need to look VERY closely, they're reflecting the bodywork colours! ;)

Are you going to build me a car park? :D

I don't find the blends THAT hard. I'm sure an airbrush woukd do it smoother than me, but I'm content with how it turned out. The hardest part , I find, is getting a smooth base colour on the panels and an airbrush ain't good for that.

Thanks very much chaps!

Here's the second car.
