Loving the project as always mate! :-*

It's a pity that GW stopped the production of their Scout Bikes. While the offroad wheel was a bit mee for Judge Dredd, the slimness of the frame was far more "Dreddy" than the SM Bike :)

Thanks bud!

I had a wee look at GWs site, they still seem to sell ALL the versions of the Space Marine bike. I can't see the difference in wheels though!

Cracking bike and really good paint job
I fully understand why you like the inspiring art work too!

nice and clever conversion work!

If I had the time, I might take a go at building it exactly like that persons design. I love the look of the wheels!

Yip, that fits the bill, just like JD's fist fits the eye-socket of a street punk resisting the arrest :)

Great work and paintjob  :-*

Thats got to be one of the best(if not thee best) comment I've ever received! :D Thanks man!

A useful add-on piece to resculpt  and cast? ;)

I'm not sure if there would be enough interest mate! That was my last marine bike as well. The rest were conscripted into my Space Wolves years ago!

By the way, I had recently bought some marine bikes with the intention of doing a lawmaster conversion. I have started mine a few minutes after seeing yours. Never have I been so inmediately inspired to do something. :D
Disclaimer: my conversion is not going to be near as incredible as Andym's! lol Just something far more simple.

May I ask which paints you used for the seat? That burgundy is lovely, and an excellent complement to the black and red paintjob of the main body.

I'd love to see what you come up with for your own bike!

The seat is just GW Dark Flesh, washed with GW Nuln Oil and highlighted a mix of GW Dark Flesh/GW Rakarth Flesh.

Thanks for ALL the comments gentlemen, they do really keep me going!! :D :D :D

That's me being an old man (33!) and mixing it up with a conversion kit which added off-road wheels and a longer fork ;) Move on, nothing to see here.

33!?!? Pah!! Your still a young thing! You're about 5 years younger than me and I don't consider myself old yet. Now where's my slippers? I never had a nap this afternoon and its waaay past my bedtime!! ;)

Not for a wee while at least I'm afraid. I've really got to be getting on with my Ghostbusters Paranormal Investigators HQ!

I've got time to paint some figures though.

I've also got a fattie and some protesters to go along with him, on the painting table.

Lovely work, sir.
Great syrup!
 :-* :-*

I have had that exact figure in my painting queue for an age and he keeps getting bumped back.
The suit was scaring me off a little, to be honest, as I wanted to attempt pinstripes but kept thinking of reasons not to....

I'd missed this thread. Outstanding work. Your painting style perfectly fits the source material.

I've been reading the 'Blood on the Streets'  Dredd mini game expansion.  All of this is very inspiring stuff. It makes me want to corral some people together for a Dredd campaign....
