Thanks again everyone for the comments. The last of the four giants is done and awaiting another coat of varnish and the base work to be finished.

By the way, I've set up a Facebook page now for those who are into that. So if that's your thang head over there and give me a like or a follow or whatever it is Facebookers do. Much appreciated. ;)

Yet another OUTSTANDINGLY WELL DONE creation! A Grand Finale Goup Portrait of the four Big Dudes would be a splendid way to cap the thread.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

More beautiful work :)
I'd be interested to know what colour primer you use and do you brush it or spray it?
Best Regards
Christopher

I use black primer. Citadel Chaos Black spray which I find to be quite hard wearing and is pretty matt. It doesn't really have any effect on how the final paint job looks with these though. I'll sometimes use white spray if a model is going to be painted in light colours that might have poor coverage (like the Antenocitis Workshop cars I painted recently).

I've been using the Citadel sprays on my minis if priming in batches but have been considering brush priming individual figures especially now as the weather has turned colder and I spray outside in my shed/workshop which is not heated.

Painted up an Ettin as well. He's a bit bigger than the giants so is quite a hefty piece. I'll do the basing later.

Although the miniature seems to moi to be too handsome for an Ettin, your WONDERFUL brushwork & FINE use of colors have made it a REMARKABLE creation nonetheless. VERY WELL DONE!
