Oof! Sassy Gal saloon!
« on: October 19, 2014, 10:15:04 AM »
Man, just wandered over to 4Ground's page and saw the rumored saloon.  Wish I had a huge chunk of change sitting around.

Pretty big piece o' MDF.

That is certainly an impressive kit. $170 US is going to take it right out of my price range.

Pretty big piece o' MDF.

It sure is!

I have plans for a different type of saloon or I could be tempted.

Yeah, times have been tough here, so I'm still way behind on "finishing" Drake's Branch.  At some point...I'll finally plunk down a few hundred buckaroos and buy the rest of my town.  I suspect I won't bother with the saloon though --- a bit toooo pricey.   lol

It would be fun to play an entire game inside the thing.

I'm going to start building this tonight...I just finished up the stable, so the Sassy Gal is next.

Here's a pic of the two boxes side by side:

I just won a go pro camera at a conference last week...I was thinking about doing a time lapse video of me assembling this beast...

Has anyone heard about a sub-base for the saloon? I pre-ordered it and at the time nothing was mentioned about having a sub-base option. I was on FRP Games web site and they have a sub-base available for pre-order, but on the 4ground site there still is nothing regarding a sub-base even being available. Tried contacting 4ground through both email and on their Facebook page but no response. Anyone have any insight?

Ivor --- I find if you post the question in a comment on a photo on facebook you tend to get a quick and simple answer.  They are slow on the email etc.

Thanks GEG! Interesting it's still not on the 4ground site though.

Elbows, I actually did that on Monday! And still no response. ???
