They look well painted and I would like to see some close ups, I don't think you have the colour of the slouch hats quite right though. It should be much darker.

Lovely paint job, and the basing is exceptional.  Mind you, I took the opportunity to look at some of your other photos and the quality of your work is fantastic across the board. 

I use Vallejo "English" Uniform for slouch hats, with a band in Vallejo Khahi. 

I've not played Bolt Action, so this might be a daft question, but why does the platoon have just one Bren?

Basic platoon members armament is rifles and other weapons can be added at a points cost. The Bren in BA is not as effctive a weapon as the MG34 or 42, so many people choose to take SMGs or other weapons to avoid what is effectively a points drain. Not historical but it is a "game".   lol
