Question for Pappa Midnight
« on: September 03, 2008, 07:56:19 PM »
Not sure if this is the proper place for this, please move if it is not... Pappa Midnight, I was looking through you gallery and found some pic's of a trike. I can tell it was converted from a Hot Wheels bike ( I think). Any chance of some details? ???

No Problems,
It's a simple conversion based on a Hotwheels "Rebel Rides: Blastlane" motorcycle.
I just removed the back wheel, used a set of wheels off an old die-cast car and used some plasti-card to build the rear body-work. The rear bumper a grip-rails are just some small bits of scrap plastic rod I had in my "Bits Box"
The rider is a Copplestone Biker with a leg swap ( Ork biker legs) and an arm swap ( also off an Ork with some trimming!!!).
If you have difficulty locating the bike just mail me and I'll see if I've got a spare.

Hope that's of some help.

The real arse is finding decent sized legs as the gorkamorka ones are hard to come across, might cut up a few ork plastic orks I've got laying around...not for the bikes but just for warped pleasure

Thanks PM, but I think I have a few Blastlanes around here somewhere (bikers got to have rides too). Just have to have a go at cuttin one up. Good tip on the Ork legs for the bikers. Hopefully i will have a new camera soon and some finished projects to display. I find great inspiration in your Zed stuff. 8)
