« on: November 13, 2014, 08:10:54 PM »
The fifth game in our 29, Let's Go! campaign saw the yanks of 175th Infantry Regiment attempt to clear the high ground to the North of the Isigny road at Cardonvile where a battery of 88mm guns were located.  The US player needs top clear the table in order to move on to neutralise this threat so that the main advance can continue.

The Germans were desperate to put a spoke in the American wheel as if Cardonville falls there is just Osmanville left to defend before the key Aure bridge at Isigny.  All desperate stuff with the stakes high for both sides.

Here's the table:

And a few gratuitous snaps to temp you...

Jolly good fun.  It's remarkable how even a short campaign like this adds an additional dimension to the proceedings.

Great set of battles for 28 Let's Go.
Looks like the campaign would be a lot of fun to play.

edit: allright, now that You have baited me into actually being very interested in joining in  ;), I am totally confused about the many rulesets on the TFL blog. Please where can I read about which game is connected with what? It seems there vare at least four rulesets for WW2?
