 ;)

Squeezed out a couple of Inf. bases with more character, one squad walking through tall grass, another about to breach a ditch...

The basing is aesthetically pleasing for sure when viewed like this, but I wonder how it is going to work on the table?!

Thanks

Works fine, but also helps it stand out a little as the command base, which is a vital part of the BKC rules.

Sexy  ;D

Thanks but concentrate on the models please.

What's the 'salt' on the supply base?

Florist sand from IKEA.

Cheers.

Here's my latest, it's the Irreg. Mini's windmill which I've had for a while. It's probably the worst casting I've ever experienced. There was enough flash to make another sail including a big lump from the venting off the staircase  ::) The sails are covering the worst of it, but even once cleaned the mill part doesn't fit together properly, isn't square and leans forward on it's stand. If you're after a 6mm windmill buy any other rather than this one.  :-[

I have considered buying that one many times. I am familiar with Irregular's quality though.

If a result such as yours can be achieved I don't mind cutting a bit of flash.

Thanks guys.

Well there certainly is a lot of chunky flash, the mould was obviously buggered...

This is after an hours cleanup, the vent on the staircase is right in the middle of the stairs...

Poor fit...

But worse on the other side, planking doesn't line up, etc...

So, what you're saying is that "Irregular" is accurate.  :P

You've done a good job. I painted some Russian terrain last year. A little green stuff needed to fix up a few areas.
