Afterlife resin minis from Anvil Industries
« on: November 18, 2014, 02:38:25 PM »
Picked up a couple of packs of the Afterlife resin figures from Anvil Industries a couple of weeks ago, more on a whim than anything else.  One pack of three Ajax exo-suits, one pack of five Taurus gun tractors/battlefield robots.

Beautiful, beautiful sculpts - lovely detail, almost no mouldlines or flash.  Both packs come with several weapons potions- 2 each of chaingun, cannon and EMP weapons for the suits, and 2 each of chaingun. cannon and missile launcher for the tractors.  The exo suits also come with some base rubble pieces.

Honestly - minis that paint themselves.  Went for muted green and grey with some tan/beige details on the exo-suits to bring them out a bit, and some bright colours (not lens effects) for shiny bits.  Dwartist I ain't, but they came out OK.  Again, apologies for cameraphone pictures.

Very nicely painted, I like the choice of colours.
The gun tractors especially look like very cool and versatile minis. Thanks for sharing.

Now you just need a Crusader robot to go with them.

They look great! Really like the colours you've chosen - what green is that?

GW Death World Forest base coat over white primer, washed with GW Athonian Camoshade, then pick out the base colour again.

The gun platforms are a great idea, aren't they?  So many uses!

Thanks for the comments folks - it's a simple paintjob but these really are impressive models.

Nice work. I bought some of those gun platform things as well and agree they're useful little bits of kit.
Tutenes, Atque Cujus Exercitus?
