Wings of Glory World War One in 1/144
« on: November 19, 2014, 05:22:35 PM »
Greetings everyone,
Recently got involved with the Wings of glory board game depicting World War One. What you see here used to be a door, now its a loosely landscaped version of southern France and the Mediterranean. This is all hand painted...over and over since May. I cant seem to leave it alone. The plane are 1/144 scale. Here are a few shots.

Very cool.  I got the WoG itch when it was out of print --- waiting to be re-introduced.  Now I'm patiently gathering a small smattering of planes as ARES re-launches them.

Nice board you have there.  Mine hasn't been nearly as impressive - just a WW1 field painted on felt.  It's a fun game for sure --- easy to get non-gamers into.  They have some nice new releases in the last wave.

Lovely to see this set up again - sorry that we'll never see more.
