Any progress on this project as I am interested in doing a small Tunisia project later this year.

not a lot ...
i had some health issues .
and i'm not a quick painter

the infantry has the basic colors , the jeep and the 3 morris 15cwt trucks are converted and has the basic colors, and the crusaders are painted, all needing some weathering, and detail .
and i have broken my camera

the 2 conus guns are work in progress ( little progress , it's quite difficult ... )
BTW my choice of Morris CS9 as a base is not a good choice ... better use a company B Forf F60 LRDG truck ...

What is that Bren thingy on the second tank? Is that just a weapon support or some king of remote firing system?

it's a weapon support for AA Bren . quite common on british tanks in the western desert .
( and its a nightmare to build

vallejo references :

1/2 "837 pale sand" + 1/2 "916 sand yellow"

wash with sepia wash

light drybrush with ivory

the bren is a scratch built item using a Company B bren ...
