Just completed my 10 Cech Legion from Copplestone Castings

Fairly happy with the overall result although I need to be neater with my faces.

I really didn't like my close up shots at all.

Here's a couple of group shots

Have basecoated some cavalry there will be four coming soon..........

These are excellent. I've always fancied a Czech scenario/campaign. Smart troops and big armoured trains. The possibilities are endless..

You are right about the possibilities but these copplestone czechs are the only ones unless you convert whites a little. looking at my whites it won't take too much to do.

The thread a while back with the pictures was very inspiring, there will be more sooner or later.

Its not always like that

Just got my head down and did a bit.

starting to slow right down again now though , may do a bit more tonight and next week just depends on time and the missus, she did say I was becoming a bit too obsessed.

you are right and i'm going to,

but yours were truly great, and an inspiration to me, as soon as I saw them I was hooked on whites.

I have finished four of these but one fell off his horse and plunged to his death, don't worry we can rebuild him

Photos are pretty dark, so it's hard to judge the details, but the overall look is certainly appealing (and the shadows actually serve to make the pictures look very dramatic, too).

Cavalry look great on the table top, especially in a 20th Century game. But I too, hate painting the damn fellows. Still haven't started my Indian lancers. Just can't bring myself to. I'm beginning to think I'll never paint them.
