Just finished a few models for a skirmish game tonight.
These are GW plastics from the Battle for Skull Pass boxed game I purchased years ago - an impulse buy that stayed on the "someday" shelf until now - along with an old Troll Slayer who heard that Trolls were involved
The minis are actually quite good in the cartoony GW way of things, quite pleased with how they turned out.
The pressure of an actual game makes a lazy bugger like me get the paints out otherwise I waste my life on forums like this
Twilight brings out the Night Goblins to ambush a Dwarven Caravan... and their target (minus Bill the Pony and his cart who is still on the painting bench and must be finished for tonight!)
The table set for playGames will be Pulp Alley - "The Hit" scenario from Vice Alley where the Dwarves have to get Bill off the table by the end of turn 6
and if we have time we will try the same thing with Iron and Honor (which looks quite fun too)
Seems I have been playing Boardgames mostly (which is not a bad thing) so it will be good to get the little men out for a change.
EDIT: He is still a little wet behind the ears but Bill has joined the party... thank feck for Strong Tone acrylic wash
